Tinjauan Etis Teologis Terhadap Praktek Judi Sabung Ayam Yang Dilakukan Pria Kaum Bapa Studi Kasus: Jemaat GMIM Nazareth Tangkunei Wilayah Sonder Satu

Abstract

This research focuses on the life attitudes of men who engage in gambling in this case the practice of cockfighting in the congregation Christian Evangelical Church in Minahasa Nazareth Tangkunei, Sonder Region One. Cockfighting was originally a custom that was passed down from generation to generation in a ceremony and has cultural values. From this hereditary tradition, cockfighting began to shift its meaning. Cockfighting began to be favored as a favorite with chicken animals and a favorite to see the fight between roosters. However, in the future, this cockfighting is contrary to Christian ethics. The method that the author uses in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Through this method, the author tries to see the problem with data collection, observation, and interviews. By using a deontological approach to the actions taken by male fathers in the GMIM Nazareth Tangkunei congregation. The expected result is that male fathers in the congregation can have an attitude based on good ethics in accordance with norms and ethical rules based on Christian ethical rules.
